2006 was great.  We gave out 330 glow bracelets, so that's the rough count of trick-or-treaters.

I have no clue how many adults came by, or how many kids didn't get the courage to come up the steps for treats.

Our roommate Vicki did all the lighting again this year, and also took video, then editited it into a 6 minute clip.

As usual, click on the pics below for a larger version.

The skeleton see-saw was new this year.  I didn't really use anyone's plans for this one, but it was inspired by PropMaster's See Saw Skeletons

Frankenbucky!   You can also see the dangling crank spider (inspired by Allen) in the background.

One of two Monster Mud trees, based on Uncle Binley's plans

My version of the Vile Things simple pop-up.  You can see it in action on the haunt video above.

Vicki's hell hole.  The flickering is created using LEDs and EFX-TEK's Prop-1  The smoke is from a fogger.

Once again, this simple prop was a crowd favorite.  It's just a mask over a wig-head, mounted on an oscilating fan.

My Headless Football Player was back this year, with an arm that flails up and down... similar to Allen's Flailer

Fake boarded up windows.  This is actually a blank wall.  I made a framework, nailed some boards to it, and then put a red LED inside so it looks like light is coming through the window.

A couple of pictures of my Monster-in-a-box.   It's a pneumatic prop, when someone passes by, it starts to laugh, and then two pnuematics under the lid slam it up and down.

Demon Bucky still around this year... not many changes, except for a new set of wings I picked up at Spirit

One of my first props... a little skeleton in a cage

The second of my Uncle Binley inspired Monster Mud trees.  I'm probably going to build one of these every year, until I either have a nice little haunted forest, or I run out of storage room!

My 7' tall Monster Mud Reaper (plans here ) had some repair work done this year.  He was starting to come apart at the seams.

I replaced my flying crank ghost with a flying demon prop I bought at Spirit.  The body actually is still, while the wings flap up and down due to the FCG mechanism.  Surprisingly realistic

The third of my new pneumatic props for the year... my kicking hanged man.  I had a LOT of people tell me that it looked way too realistic.  How-to here .

We also had a small party this year...
